I am very excited to be able to show you my collection of handmade Jewellery! Jewellery has always been a big passion of mine and being able to work and create within the jewellery industry on a daily basis is a dream come true.I have been studying in Birmingham’s Jewellery quarter for around a year now and my skills are continuing to strengthen and grow every day.
The Anxiety Ring came to life when looking in the jewellery market for new ideas and inspiration. Mental health and anxiety specifically have been highlighted to me as the largest spoken about topic in the UK today. We can put a lot of this down to lockdown knocking a lot of people’s confidence both socially and mentally.
Therefore, I designed this stunning handcrafted ring as a way to relax and relieve stress. With two plain silver bands encasing the middle band with beads, this ring creates a simple and elegant stacked look.
Each bead moves individually, just as each ring was created individually giving a unique character to each ring, no two are the same; just as none of us are the same, we are all unique and different in our own experiences; perfectly imperfect.
The rings have been crafted with the raw material sterling silver, but I am conscious of the amount of waste we can produce with silver; therefore, I try and reuse scrap pieces of material where I can, to avoid waste and increase the sustainability of our products.
